Thomas Krüger - Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics EMEA
Thomas Krüger, born in 1964, has been with DACHSER since 2004 and has been the Managing Director of the Business Unit Air & Sea Logistics (ASL) EMEA since June 2016. These include Europe, the Middle East, Africa and, in particular, Germany and Western Europe, which he also serves as Regional Head. In this position, Thomas Krüger reports directly to Edoardo Podestá, Chief Operations Officer Air & Sea Logistics (COO Air & Sea Logistics). His tasks include providing the country managers with contacts, stabilizing the results of the countries with them, developing development potential and coordinating the needs of the regions and countries with the corporate units. Furthermore, Thomas Krüger manages communication with the other ASL Business Units APAC and AMERICAS.
Wolfgang Reinel - Managing Director European Logistics North Central Europe
Wolfgang Reinel, born in 1963, has been Managing Director of the Business Unit European Logistics North Central Europe (EL NCE) since 2014 and, as such, a member of the Road Logistics Management Board and the management board of DACHSER SE. Previously, he led DACHSER's global contract logistics and introduced the strategic planning (Balanced Scorecard / BSC) in the NCE countries. He is responsible for a total of 18 country organizations in his EL NCE business unit, which includes eight joint venture companies. He reports to Michael Schilling, Chief Operations Officer Road Logistics (COO Road Logistics). As Managing Director EL NCE, Wolfgang Reinel is responsible for the business development and implementation of the Road Logistics and Interlocking strategy - taking into account individual national (network) requirements.
John van den Berg - Managing Director
John van den Berg, born in Netherlands, in 1970, started his career with DACHSER in 2006 after 10 years’experience in the freight forwarding sector. Starting in DACHSER Waddinxveen, where he managed the Customer Service and Controlling department before moving to DACHSER Zevenaar in 2011, John took over the responsibility of Branch Manager in January 2013 until June 2019. Since July of 2019 John worked in Ireland with outgoing country manager Albert Johnston to steer the integration and rebranding of DACHSER Ireland. As of the 1st of January 2020 John is now the Managing Director EL of DACHSER Ireland.
