DACHSER expands contract logistics activities in northern France

In Arras, in the Hauts-de-France region, DACHSER France opened a new warehouse with an area of around 20,000 square meters and space for 28,000 pallets. With the new location, DACHSER supports its customers from the toy and textile industries, among others, with combined transport and warehousing services for their import and export activities within Europe. In addition to efficient warehousing and value-added services, the site offers comprehensive customs services, e.g. for exports to the UK.

Growth in Normandy

DACHSER France also opened a new warehouse in Étainhus in Normandy. The 6,000-square-meter facility has a storage capacity of 4,500 pallets and 2,000 square meters of block storage space. DACHSER offers customers a wide range of logistics solutions in Étainhus, from consignment receipt to order dispatch as well as warehousing and order picking. The Étainhus site is also connected to DACHSER's global network via the Port of Le Havre.

DACHSER has been represented in Normandy for more than 35 years, and the logistics provider opened a facility in Le Grand Quevilly, just 80 kilometers away, at the end of 2020.
