DACHSER, myclimate, and terre des hommes agree on a climate action program

DACHSER, the climate protection organization myclimate, and the children’s rights organization terre des hommes have agreed to enter into a long-term collaboration. Together, the international logistics provider and the nonprofit organizations will launch new climate action projects worldwide and expand existing initiatives. An agreement to this effect was signed in December 2023.

DACHSER names new management for European Logistics Germany and European Logistics North Central Europe

DACHSER has named Claus Wetzel (44) as the new head of its European Logistics Germany business unit, effective January 1, 2026. He succeeds Andreas Fritsch (63), who has overseen DACHSER’s transport and storage business for industrial and consumer goods in Germany since January 1, 2023.
The European Logistics North Central Europe business unit will be headed by Florian Zehetleitner (46) as of January 1, 2026. He succeeds Wolfgang Reinel (62), who has been responsible for the business unit since 2014.

DACHSER puts its first hydrogen trucks into service

Next year, the logistics service provider will put a 27-ton Hyundai Xcient truck on the road in Magdeburg, Germany. The zero-emission truck will be used for regional distribution as well as regular scheduled nighttime services to Berlin. Another hydrogen fuel-cell truck, the 19-ton Enginius Bluepower, will start making deliveries for DACHSER to Hamburg’s city center in mid-2023.
